Youth Praise Team
The purpose of the J-Team is to teach each person the significance of Praise and Worship, as expressed in song, to assist with the enhancement of their spiritual gifts, and to provide an avenue for school aged students to worship. It is our hope that by doing this, we will allow our students to express their talents as they glorify God and help them grow in faith, community, and servant hood.
Youth Praise Dance
We believe that through dance we are developing form of expression which will set the atmosphere for worship. We also believe that we as dancers are evolving in our own lives to become superior individuals in the body of Christ.
Girls that are age 4- 18 are invited to be a part of this ministry.
Acting Out Loud
The Acting Out Loud Ministry serves as part of the Worship Arts Team. We seek to imagine and implement a vision of the church and the arts that is theologically informed, biblically grounded, liturgically sensitive, artistically alive and missional relevant. We do this through Plays, Skits, and Spoken Word.
Fusion
Every Wednesday from 6:30-8PM youth gather in small groups by age & grade to participate in Christian centered activities that will enhance their spiritual growth and development. We fuse together three key ingredients to ensure this growth: fellowship, discipleship, and missions. We want our students to feel as if they have had the greatest experience of their lives!
Youth Church
Youth Church is a worship experience focused totally on children and building their understanding of the Bible and promoting a meaningful relationship with God. During Youth Church, our students take an active part from the opening ice breakers, dancing, laughter, arts/crafts, to the delivery of the spoken word or lesson for the day. Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process. We do this in many ways, but especially through the various resources that we create. These resources help build a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our kids.
Boys of Promise &
Girls of Promise
The purpose of the Boys of Promise and Girls of Promise is to provide a space in which our elementary through high school aged students can benefit from the direct and personal interaction that is provided through mentorship. Through Fusion we will offer group locker room sessions for the male students and the female students that will focus on topics/issues that students are directly affected by. The goal is to create a safe space for the students and allow them to open up and share where they are pertaining to what is being discussed. Outside of Fusion it is our hope to be able to take students on outings that create relationship building opportunities.
